After 6 months off of formal exercise due to a renovation that took more of my time than I had expected but is done and looks great, I'm ready to get back in shape. My hope is that the "muscle memory theory" is going to make the process quick and painless..... Ya right!
At an rate, I needed a place to start so I'm using Frank Sepe's Level 4 weights work out schedule and doing 40mins of cardio 4 days a week. I say this like I've been doing it for a while, in fact it's been about 3 days... and counting. :)
My current strategy is to get back into the habit/routine of working out 4-5 times a week with cardio and weights in each session. Other than that I'm easing into it, trying to keep it enjoyable.
On the nutrition end of things I'm making better choices, eating more veges, watching serving sizes but eating if I'm hungry. I'll get more strict down the road.
As much as I hate the thought of it, I'm going to post a before photo of myself tomorrow and I'll post monthly updated pics. That will definitely keep me Accountable!
